Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on its Way

Growing up, my bothers, sister and I would always use the basket that my mom made for each of us. I wanted my son to have one made by me, so I used this tutorial to make him one. Daisy Chain

This is my latest project. It is a Daisy Chain quilt I made using a pattern from this book and two Woodland Bloom jelly rolls by Lila Tueller for Moda Fabrics . I just got it back from the longarm quilter and have to finish sewing the binding down, but I couldn't wait to show it off.

Today is the Day!

Today is the day I am starting my blog! I don't know why I picked today. It holds no significance. I have been wanting to create a blog for quite some time now and today, when I have a million and one other things that I should be doing, I started my very own blog. I have been an avid reader of blogs and now I have my own. I love to quilt, sew, make handbags, knit, and create. I enjoy seeing what others have created and now I have an outlet to share what I do.
